  10. Well, I doubt that "most" people use the very latest experimental
  11. kernel releases from Finland.  Those that do know that they're living
  12. on the "bleeding edge" and they should expect some problems.  However,
  13. enough people do use such kernels that I'm picking up kernel 1.1.69
  14. and the kernel changelogs as I write this.

  16. Your criticism that we are "still" using kernel 1.1.51 strikes me as
  17. unfair.  It seems a bit much to demand of companies selling Linux
  18. products that they must assure compatibility with every experimental
  19. kernel release Linus puts out.  Remember, we're a small company and
  20. Linux is only one of three different operating systems we support.  We
  21. certainly want Executor to work on as many Linux machines as possible,
  22. but tracking down experimental kernel incompatibilities is only one
  23. project among many.

  25. That said, thanks for the kick in the pants.  Hopefully I'll figure
  26. this problem out soon.  :-)
