  7. binhex 5 is nothing more than MacBinary, really.  it is used quite often, and
  8. is better than binhex 4.0 in that the filesize is smaller, but the files are
  9. not text so don't lend themselves to email or news.  if you download any
  10. mac.bin file and than run Binhex 5.0 under executor, it will split the file
  11. into it's respective forks.  i mcvert all .hqx's before dl'ing because of this.
