  3.   I run the executor mailing list for the folks at ARDI.  I do this as a  
  4. favor to them, not as an employee.  Recently, there has been a spate of  
  5. people making subscription and deletion requests to the wrong address.   
  6. For those of you who don't know or have forgotten how to get added or  
  7. removed from the executor list I'm send the following help message.

  13. All routine administrative requests (including subscriptions and
  14. unsubscriptions) concerning this mailing list are handled by an
  15. automated server.  Please read this message carefully to find the
  16. information relevant to you.

  18. SUBSCRIBING
  19. ===========

  21. To subscribe to executor, send the following in the body (not
  22. the subject line) of an email message to "majordomo@nacm.com":
  23.  
  24.         subscribe executor
  25.  
  26. This will subscribe the account from which you send the message to
  27. the executor list.
  28.  
  29. If you wish to subscribe another address instead (such as a local
  30. redistribution list), you can use a command of the form:

  32.         subscribe executor other-address@your_site.your_net
  33.  
  34. UNSUBSCRIBING
  35. =============

  37. To unsubscribe from executor, send the following in the body (not
  38. the subject line) of an email message to "majordomo@nacm.com":

  40.         unsubscribe executor
  41.  
  42. This will unsubscribe the account from which you send the message.
  43. If you are subscribed with some other address, you'll have to send
  44. a command of the following form instead:
  45.  
  46.         unsubscribe executor other-address@your_site.your_net
  47.  
  48. If you don't know what address you are subscribed with, you can send
  49. the following command to see who else is on the list (assuming that
  50. information isn't designated "private" by the owner of the list)

  52.         who executor
  53.  
  54. If you want to search non-privte lists at this server, you can do that
  55. by sending a command like:
  56.  
  57.         which string
  58.  
  59. This will return a list of all entries on all lists that contain "string".

  64. To find out more about the automated server and the commands it
  65. understands, send the following command to "majordomo@nacm.com":
