  1. Hi Folks,
  2.  
  3. A power surge took out the boot disk from our Netinfo server (ouch),
  4. and apparently gnu tar doesn't want to restore all the symbolic links
  5. from our backup tape, so our e-mail configuration is hosed.  We can
  6. receive e-mail, but we can't send e-mail out.  In addition, we temporarily
  7. can't get at some of our most recent e-mail.
  8.  
  9. The inability to send out should be fixed within 24 hours.
  10.  
  11. However, we'll probably continue to be pretty quiet for the remainder of
  12. the week, since I'm due for a mini-vacation and there's suddenly a bunch
  13. more b.s. to deal with (due to the lack of a drive) than I expected.
