  12. On some things like graphics it's pretty slow. However, on things  
  13. like file operations, it's really quick. When I created a Compact Pro  
  14. file with it, it compressed 2.227 MB of tiff files (on the Next file  
  15. system) in 4 minutes 36 seconds. It also compressed 1.11 MB of  
  16. Infocom text-based games in 3 minutes 14 seconds. I'm not sure, but I  
  17. believe that's faster than my SE/30 could do.

  19. Text scrolling seems faster, too.

  21. It does seem to slow down the NeXT a bit.
