- That patch is needed if you want to run Executor/svgalib and you have
- a non-serial mouse. It also fixes an error in the kernel itimer code
- that would cause Mac games to run at slower-than-necessary speeds.
- Even with the patch some games will only run at 5/6 the proper speed,
- since the kernel timer is 100 Hz and the closest it can come to
- emulating the Mac 60 Hz timer is 50 Hz. I think changing the kernel
- to run at 120 Hz works, but I'm not sure.

- Yes, I think svgalib has trouble with some Cirrus cards. Make sure
- you've got the latest svgalib.
