  18. ZX Spectrum Emulator - runs, slowly but runs

  20. C64 - same as Spectrum

  24. All three start up, boot there emulated computer (ok, you have to wait some
  25. 5 minutes for that <g>) and are able to load programs. Don't know if every
  26. aspect of them works, because they are so awfull slow. So not of much use
  27. on slower machines (don't know how it is with a pentium, maybe then they
  28. are usable).

  30. Some programming environments:

  32. Pixie Scheme - works well, loads files, runs programs, seems ok to me
  33.  
  34. Help - (that's a lazy scheme, if someone is interested in that fact ;-) )
  35. starts up, can load files, can run functions, but sometimes crashes the
  36. Executor on exit (I test with a 1.99q without any number, so I should
  37. upgrade and test again, I think).

  39. ProIcon - Icon development environment. Starts up and can load files if you
  40. give them to it on startup. Can't load files with the open dialog, there is
  41. a assertion violation in the executor. Hangs on linking a program,
  42. compiling works ok. Will test it again as soon as I have the q7 or newer.

  44. MacGambit - a Scheme development environment. Doesn't start, gives me a
  45. "-1" on startup. Too bad, since it is one of the environments I am mostly
  46. interestd in (besides the ProIcon environment).

  48. JB Prolog Demo - starts up, runs, can load programs, can run programs, can
  49. work with it's databases. I changed a little bit in the database and now it
  50. doesn't run anymore, don't know if that's a fault auf JB Prolog or
  51. Executor.

  53. Open Prolog - doesn't start. Maybe with q7. Will test again.

  55. And then there are a bunch of programs, that need System 7. Don't run up to
  56. now, even with System 7 faking.

  58. MuPad, MauseFalle (EMail-programm for the Macintosh for a german BBS
  59. network), PCalc
