I've been using Executor/Linux very happily for the past six months, with very few problems. Suddenly, in X Windows, Linux is running in what appears to be reverse video, and for the life of me i can't get it to go back to normal. I've tried totally erasing both the executables and the executor file system, both from the the original 199p and 199p6. Everything else in X Windows is working perfectly, from Netscape to 24-bit jpg pictures. Also, Linux-SVGA is working perfectly (well, almost ;). Also some problems with 199p6: Although Matt said the Textures III was working, after I select a pattern, go back to Browser, quit and then try to restart Executor, it spews out line after line of errors on the command line. Also 'A Train' no longer works with 199p6. It goes through several of the opening graphics and then just freezes. In fact, with Executor-SVGA it totally freezes up the machine and I have to shut down the machine to break out (not too much fun under unix ;-) Hope these problems are easy ones to fix... -Jeff ~ This is a test of the Emergency Broadcast System. Had this been an actual emergency we would have fled in terror, and you would not have been informed.
