So after browsing the FAQ and unofficial web pages, I downloaded a copy. WOW, I'm really amazed. I struggle, every so often, with WABI on a sparc 5, and so my expectations were not very high, but I can't believe how fast it starts up, and how well it runs the applications. My copy of Now up-to-date that I normally would use on my powerbook looks great. This could be the end of my DOS/Windows partition on my linux box! The only reason I've kept Windows around is to run Quicken. I had an old mac version of Quicken 3.0 that I tried, but that didn't seem to run too well. The register seemed to be black on black, and it dumped core, after I ran a report. What experiences have others had with Quicken? Version 4? Version 5? Is Quicken a priority program to have working reliable with 2.0? I will definitely spend the $50.00 for executor, and change my Quicken license if its going to work well.
