  14. I guess I am the only person having trouble with 1.99p/Linux.
  15. When I run as root and try to register my executor under X, I get:

  18. main.c:399; fatal error in `ROMlib_writenameorgkey': Unable to open \
  19. /usr/local/bin/.executor for writing: Permission denied
  20.  
  21. When I try to run 'executor-svga' as root (and with the executable
  22. setuid root), I always get "Can't get I/O permissions".
  23.  
  24. In the past I have had no trouble with either of these, and my setup
  25. didn't change from 1.99o9 to 1.99p.  I am running kernel 1.3.21
  26. with a.out binaries.  Any ideas?
