  9. I find it best to install Executor on a Dos Drivespaced or Doublespaced 
  10. partition.  That was you can create as large a virtual hard drive for 
  11. Executor, as they take up actually no room (or very little) until data is 
  12. put into it.  This doesn't tie up your drive with an unnessarily large 
  13. file, leaving room for it to expand.  And if you have to do late minute 
  14. house keeping to accomodate a growing .hfv file, it's better than 
  15. starting out with an .hfv file that is too small in the first place.

  17. And if you need the speed later, you can always free up an uncompressed 
  18. drive and copy your Executor directory to it.

  20. But I've noticed you can't have .hfv files on more than the directory 
  21. that Executor is in (or am I wrong there).

  23. Does Executor look for .hfv files in partitions other than the directory 
  24. it was started in?
