  17. I got and installed this,
  18. with Xfree 3.1.2... same behavior as reported before (Linux-1.2.11, S3
  19. server) with the Marathon demo.  No refresh of doom-like-view screen
  20. (menus are fine, the radar works, and the map/moving in overhead mode
  21. works).  behavior is both during interactive mode (i.e., playing the
  22. game) and when it's in demo mode.

  24. is anyone else getting this symptom?

  26. note: I have tried a plethora switches, mucking with -refresh
  27. (different values), memory sizes, colormap, etc.

  31. ps: if I force a redraw of the whole screen (minimize and maximize
  32. window) then it shows the latest frame (but it doesn't do that if it
  33. goes from map mode back to "normal" mode.
