  15. Yes, its quite easy, depending on what system you are copying these to.
  16. I believe that a program called "sox" will convert these files, and is 
  17. available as source, compilable on any platform.

  19. I use Linux, and the Lsox package available on sunsite.  All I ahve to do 
  20. is type
  21. sox quack quack.au
  22. and it will make an .au file that I can play.
  23. sox quack quack.wav
  24. makes a .wav file.

  26. If you use DOS or OS/2, I think you can archie for something called sox 
  27. to do the same thing...
