  13. i need some printing help.

  15. here's the setup...
  16.  
  17. linux 1.2.8, fully networked via ethernet
  18. printer is used via the net - not connected directly to my machine.
  19. text and .ps file printing works using lpr (goes to a server in the dept)
  20.  
  21.  
  22. i'd like to be able to print from executor apps.  does this work?
  23. when i go to print from MS Word i get this postscript print dialog box
  24. which seems cool and the computer works for a while on it and then
  25. returns to the app like it printed but nothing prints to the printer
  26. or a file as far as i can tell.  however, i could be looking in the
  27. wrong places i suppose.  any ideas about how to do this?
