  22. to format Macintosh disks under Linux, I have written a little program
  23. called "macformat". The disk must be low-level formatted. The formatting
  24. takes only a few seconds (like "mformat a:" for DOS format does).
  25.  
  26. To format a disk and give it the label "Diskname", just type:
  27.  
  28.     macformat /dev/fd0 "Diskname"
  29.  
  30. I have put it on sunsite.unc.edu under /pub/linux/systems/Emulators.
