  25. Word 5.1 should run nicely under Executor/Linux 1.99m.  Unfortunately,
  26. there are still some outstanding printing problems.  There are some
  27. special characters (bullets) that get printed out wrong over here (a
  28. NeXT printer and an HP running an old version of GhostScript) and on
  29. top of that, many other people with PostScript printers say that our
  30. output won't print at all.

  40. I am not an objective judge.  I think it's close enough to be worth
  41. trying, especially under 1.99m.  You might want to tweak some
  42. environment variables (SystemFolder, ConfigurationFolder, perhaps
  43. MacVolumes) so that each user can have her/his own System and
  44. Configuration area.

  46. Please let us know how it turns out.  If there are problems, we'll try
  47. to fix them, since this sort of use of Executor is in fact what it's
  48. planned for.  Probably the best e-mail address to send status reports
  49. to is "bugs@ardi.com", even if (I cross my fingers here) you have more
  50. praise than bugs to send.
