  16. Executor/DOS 1.2e does not check for non-HFV filesystems until you  
  17. explicitly ask it to by typing Left-Alternate/SHIFT/2.  This applies  
  18. to floppy disks, SCSI disks and CD-ROMs.  You can get the old  
  19. behaviour (that checks every time a standard get/put dialog box is  
  20. brought up) by adding the "-drivecheck" to the command line.

  22. The next release of Executor will be halfway between what the old  
  23. version of Executor did (check every time) and what 1.2e does (only  
  24. check when you type Cmd-Shift-2).  It will check for disks once at  
  25. startup time and will also check each time you dismiss the box that  
  26. you get when you eject a floppy.  All other checks will only be made  
  27. when you type Cmd-Shift-2.  It will honor the "-drivecheck" switch  
  28. just like 1.2e does, if you want.

  45. I found that the latest update I got off the net works very
  46. well with my 486 running OS/2.  Unfortuantely, that is

  48. because it no longer can access the floppy dirves (no access
  49. under DOS either).  Previuosly, it would spend some time
  50. trying to access my B: 51/4 drive after every attempt to
