Executor/DOS 1.2e does not check for non-HFV filesystems until you
explicitly ask it to by typing Left-Alternate/SHIFT/2. This applies
to floppy disks, SCSI disks and CD-ROMs. You can get the old
behaviour (that checks every time a standard get/put dialog box is
brought up) by adding the "-drivecheck" to the command line.
The next release of Executor will be halfway between what the old
version of Executor did (check every time) and what 1.2e does (only
check when you type Cmd-Shift-2). It will check for disks once at
startup time and will also check each time you dismiss the box that
you get when you eject a floppy. All other checks will only be made
when you type Cmd-Shift-2. It will honor the "-drivecheck" switch
just like 1.2e does, if you want.

I found that the latest update I got off the net works very
well with my 486 running OS/2. Unfortuantely, that is
because it no longer can access the floppy dirves (no access
