c. What the application does:
The application plots the trajectory of a particle or a photon around and within a spinning black hole. The initial position, energy, and angular momentum of the particle can be changed with sliders. Many of the other parameters of the system and integration can also be changed.
d. What the application is used for at CSULA:
The application is used in a class on topic in General Relativity to illustrate the concepts developed in lecture on the Kerr metric. The Kerr metric describes the geometry of spacetime for a rotating black hole.
e. The application was developed using NeXT release 2.0.
