basics/find/files/tips,Geni (pron. jee-nee) is a genealogical data-,base browser for the Psion 3a. It uses files'created by RdGed from GEDCOM and allows+the user to navigate via a few, easy to re-$member keystrokes. Context-sensitive#help is available by pressing HELP.
)From the ancestral tree the user can move+to the parents, siblings, spouses or child-+ren of the current individual or view their&details. The latter shows the date and,place of their birth and death and lists all)spouses and children by those spouses. It(is also possible to browse to spouses or!their children from this display.
)Users can search for individuals by name.+Use of wildcards * and ? is also supported.

the original GEDCOM.
"RdGed should swallow most types of*GEDCOM file without any difficulty. If you&experience problems please report them&to the author. Basically RdGed ignores
anything it doesn't understand!
*Should RdGed run out of space to store the+Geni file it will prompt the user to create#more space or abort the conversion.
%Note that RdGed ignores CONT and CONC+tags in GEDCOM files. This shouldn't create
any problems in general.
