  2. Thank you for evaluating Magic Folders!

  7. Magic Folders makes any folders (directories) you choose and all the 
  8. files in those folders completely invisible to others yet instantly 
  9. accessible to yourself. 
  10.  
  11. Your invisible folders and files can't be deleted, viewed, modified, or 
  12. run.  For all practical purposes they don't exist.  Use Magic Folders to 
  13. protect your finances, taxes, business and personal documents.  Not only 
  14. will others not know these files exist, they won't be able to 
  15. accidentally delete or modify them either.  With Magic Folders you can 
  16. turn over your computer to your children or your co-workers without 
  17. worrying if they'll delete, modify or view important files.

  19. Yet, just enter your password and you'll instantly have complete and 
  20. normal access to all your folders and the files within.  There's no need 
  21. to un-hide each file or folder individually.  And Magic Folders is 
  22. totally transparent.  No one need know your invisible folders/files even 
  23. exist.

  25. If you wish, you can establish 5 different accounts so everyone using 
  26. your computer can create their own invisible folders that only they have 
  27. access to.

  29. If you share your computer you need Magic Folders.  Use it to protect 
  30. files you don't want others to delete, modify, view, or use.  Keep your 
  31. important files safe.  Protect them with Magic Folders!

  33. If you're using a non-english version of Win95 you may need the english version 
  34. of VBRUN300.DLL.  You can get it at: http://www.pc-magic.com/vbrun300.zip

  36. "Magic Folders" works in Windows 3.x and Windows 95.  It does not work in 
  37. Windows NT or 32 bit file access of Windows 3.11 (Windows for 
  38. Workgroups).

  40. You will need a blank floppy disk handy for use during installation.

  42. Run MAGIC.EXE to install Magic Folders.
