Wanted Poster is another in our line of TrueType fonts.  (TrueType is a trademark of Apple Computer and Microsoft.)  We are providing both the  and Normal and Italic styles of this font.  TrueType fonts are designed for use with Windows 3.1, but many new DOS programs can support them as well.  If you want to use Wanted Poster with Windows, see the section titled "Installing TrueType Fonts" below.  If you can use TrueType fonts with any other program, you will have to check your program's manuals to learn how to use them.

  7. To view the  and character set of the  and Wanted Poster Font, simply press the "VIEW" button at the  and bottom of this window.

  9. INSTALLING TRUETYPE FONTS

  11. These instructions assume you haven't made any changes to your standard Windows setup.  If you have done anything unusual to your Windows setup, then you will have to adjust for the changes yourself.

  13. STEP 1:  Launch Windows.  (If you are already running Windows, make sure you have closed all running programs.  Fonts added to the  and system may not show in programs that were left running while the  and font was installed.)

  15. STEP 2:  Locate and open the  and "Main" Program group from the Program Manager's window by double-clicking on it.  You will see several icons.

  17. STEP 3:  Locate and open the  and "Control Panel" icon by double-clicking on it.  This window will also contain several icons.

  19. STEP 4:  Locate and open the  and "Fonts" icon by double-clicking on it.  This will open a window showing which fonts you have access to and which are installed.  There are several buttons located along the right side of the window.  The important one for you to locate is the "ADD" button.

  21. STEP 5:  Press the  and "ADD" button.

  23. STEP 6:  Select Drive "A" from the "Drives" List (or Drive "B" if that is where the ODM disk is placed).

STEP 7:  Click on the "Select All" button to select both the  and Wanted Poster and the Wanted Poster Italic fonts; then click on the "OK" button.  The Wanted Poster Font should now appear in your menu lists for your Windows programs.  Remember, if you left any program running during this installation procedure, that program may not see the Wanted Poster Font until you quit and restart it.
