  10.  Truer words have never been spoken.  We are in the planning stages of 
  11.  Big Blue Disk's changes and I just want to prepare you for what are 
  12.  bound to be monumental changes.  No need to fear, these will be 
  13.  changes for the better.

  15.  In BBD #52 I made the announcement that we would begin to support   
  16.  EGA and VGA users.  For some reason a few CGA/Mono users took that to 
  17.  mean we were dropping support for their machine.  Nothing could be 
  18.  farther from the truth.  Some of our CGA/Mono friends wrote and kindly 
  19.  requested that we explore a new, easier to use presenter for them.  I 
  20.  appreciated that and will fulfil their request.  Many other CGA/Mono 
  21.  users wrote to me to let me know what a moron I was for even 
  22.  considering to widen our possible audience.  Considering the tone 
  23.  used when I wrote the article in #52 I can understand their thoughts.  
  24.  From a logical, business standpoint I can only hope they understand 
  25.  ours.

  27.  Our overall objective is to make BBD easier to use and more attractive 
  28.  for all our computing friends.  The new presenter will auto-detect 
  29.  your video card (you will be able to force video modes from the 
  30.  command line) and launch into the correct version.  We WILL continue 
  31.  to support all hardware platforms with our programs and our presenter 
  32.  as long as it is financially profitable to do so.  In other words, as 
  33.  long as you buy BBD we will cater to your needs.

  35.  BBD is trying to make a win/win situation for Softdisk, Inc. and ALL 
  36.  our users.  We are going to develop software that will run on and push 
  37.  the hardware of ALL our users machines.  As of this writing the only 
  38.  things we are pushing is the patience of those users who've invested 
  39.  in EGA & VGA cards and monitors.  It's my job to see that everyone 
  40.  (Mono, CGA, EGA, VGA, SVGA) has an educational, profitable, dare I 
  41.  say, visually amazing experience with BBD.  Indeed it's a tall order, 
  42.  one that I plan on seeing happen!
