  7.     Where does the month go?  We've been so busy working on Big Blue Disk #34 
  8.  that we lost all track of time.  We hope that your Summer is going well, that 
  9.  you haven't gotten sunburned too badly, and that you've still found time to 
  10.  enjoy Big Blue Disk.

  12.     Actually we have been working so hard on this issue we almost forgot one 
  13.  important thing . . . everything must fit on two 5 1/4" floppy disks!  The 
  14.  program content of Big Blue Disk is usually comprised of software submitted 
  15.  by programmers outside the company with one or two pieces written by the BBD 
  16.  staff.  Thus, when we plan an issue most of the programs are finished and 
  17.  won't grow very much at all.  We customarily allow some additional space just 
  18.  for those last minute changes that might crop up and cause a program to grow. 
  19.  Otherwise, we can pretty much plan on everything fitting just as we laid it 
  20.  out.

  22.     This month was a different story.  You will notice that all the programs 
  23.  were either written or converted from other machines by a member of the staff.
  24.  Our schedule requires us to establish issue content about six weeks before 
  25.  the final version is produced.  When we initially set this issue we thought 
  26.  there was going to be enough room for everything.  We were all just a bit 
  27.  amazed when we gathered the programs together and found that we needed more 
  28.  space than was available on the disks.  With a few last minute adjustments, we 
  29.  were able to include all the software we wanted.  You will be able to run all 
  30.  the programs from the menu, but should plan on moving the ones you will be 
  31.  working with most to separate floppy disks.
