  28. Back in July 1984, CNW #1385 (owned by Mid-
  29. Continent Railway Museum) made an overnight lay over in
  30. Janesville, WI.  An old high school friend of mine worked for the
  31. CNW so I got to photograph the early morning servicing.  This
  32. picture was taken next to the old roundhouse.

  34. This locomotive is an R-1 Class, 4-6-0, built in
  35. 1907 by the American Locomotive Company at Schenectady, NY.  It
  36. saw service on both a freight and passenger trains.  In the late
  37. 1950's she saw service in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.  It was
  38. serviced at Stambaugh, at Ishpeming, and at Escanaba.
