^C^1The CLEAR Command
^Cby
^CRandall Hamilton
This command is very simple in function, but can be useful to users of
commands to change text and background colors from the MS-DOS prompt, like the
COLOR command included in BIG BLUE DISK #12. You may want to clear the screen
after you have done a color change, but the CLS command in DOS causes the screen
colors to return to their defaults, white on black. CLEAR on this disk remedies
that by providing a way to clear the screen without messing up the set colors.
To use it, simply type CLEAR. The screen will be cleared to the background
color you have set.
Place this file on whatever disk or subdirectory you keep your external DOS
commands.
