  6.      Version 7.9 of the IMDISP program has now been released.  IMDISP is an
  7. interactive image processing program that runs on an IBM PC computer.  It was
  8. written to be used with the Voyager and Magellan images which are available on
  9. CD-ROM.  IMDISP has appeared on the GRIPS CDROM (version 4.4) and the GRIPS 2
  10. CDROM (version 5.6), and is currently distributed with the planetary images
  11. CDROMs.

  13.      IMDISP 7.9 is available via anonymous ftp at ames.arc.nasa.gov
  14. [128.102.18.3] in a file called imdisp79.zip in the pub/SPACE/SOFTWARE
  15. subdirectory and at hypatia.gsfc.nasa.gov in the pub/software/imdisp
  16. subdirectory.  It is also available through Simtel-20 [192.88.110.20] at
  17. PD1:<MSDOS.GRAPHICS>IMDISP79.ZIP.

  19.      IMDISP79.ZIP consists of the following files:

  21.                 IMDISP.EXE   - IMDISP program version 7.9
  22.                 IMDISP.DOC   - User's Guide for IMDISP 7.9
  23.                 PALETTES.ZIP - Color palette collection
  24.                 PAL.BAT      - Batch file to display each color palette
  25.                 CYCLE.BAT    - Batch file to color cycle each color palette

  27.      Also included in a separate file, IMDISPD.ZIP, which is a collection of
  28. images and batch files which are used to perform a demo for IMDISP.  This demo
  29. is similiar to the one given during the JPL Expo on August 3-4, 1991. The demo
  30. requires a minimum of a 800x600 graphics display and 2MB of memory.

  32.      Since we are the programmers for IMDISP, we would appreciate any feedback
  33. on IMDISP, including any problems encountered and suggestions for improvement.
