- MIDIBASE LE HELP
-
- Link Button
- Clicking Link (under the "Editor" label) brings up the Link
- To MIDI Editor dialog box. From this dialog box you can
- choose a MIDI editor (any program that reads standard MIDI
- files) that you would like to use with the MIDI files. If
- you select a program that can read MIDI files, MIDIBase
- will be "linked" to that program. When a MIDI editor is
- linked it means that clicking the "Edit" button or choosing
- Go To MIDI Editor from the File menu will exit MIDIBase
- and launch that MIDI editor with the last MIDI file you
- played.
-
- Edit Button
- Clicking Edit (under the "Editor" label) exits MIDIBase and
- launches the MIDI editor that was previously linked to using
- the Link To MIDI Editor... command. The MIDI editor will be
- launched with the last MIDI file you played.
-
- NOTE: The MIDI file that is loaded in the MIDI Editor will be
- the last MIDI file played (by clicking the Play button), not
- the last MIDI file selected (by choosing in the list of
- pieces).
-
- Play Button
- Clicking Play (under the "Controls" label) plays the
- currently selected piece.
