  28. The Gain function of the Wave Editing Sessions has been enhanced, the ability to set a clipping (radial compression) level during gain via a scroll bar, and a normalizing feature have been added.

  33. Setup decompresses and copies the following files to a directory of your choosing on your hard disk:

Note 1: The executable files AUDIORCM.EXE and AUDIORMN.EXE are not available in Multimedia Sound Studio or in all editions of Sound Impression.  For information on upgrading to advanced versions of Sound Impression that include these and other features, check the literature contained in your package or contact Asystem, 1878 West 11th Street, #185, Tracy, California 95376; phone: (510) 527-1011.

  57. In addition to the files listed above, an initialization file named AUDIO.INI is created during installation and updated each time you run the program.  AUDIO.INI resides in your Windows directory.

  60. Starting Sound Impression\Multimedia Sound Studio

  62. If your sound card and all necessary drivers are installed, you can use any of the following methods to start Sound Impression (or Multimedia Sound Studio) immediately after Setup is successfully completed.

  64. * Double-click the "Rack" icon in Program Manager; or
  65.  
  66. * Call File Manager, open the directory window for the directory you named during Setup (default is C:\AUDIOSIM) then double-click the file named AUDIOSIM.EXE on the file list; or
  67.  
  68. * On any Windows Run command line, type the directory path you named during installation (again, the default was C:\AUDIOSIM), then a backslash, then AUDIOSIM.EXE.  For example, if you accepted the default directory for your Sound Impression files you would type:

  70.     C:\AUDIOSIM\AUDIOSIM.EXE

  72. then Return to open the main screen Rack.
