  1. The Malayan People's Anti-Japanese Army. Members used guerrilla tactics to attack the Japanese. There were agents in every Malayan state.   After Japan surrendered, the MPAJA maintained law and order in Johore. The MPAJA was formally disbanded in January 1946 at the Padang. ^^^
