Also known as "Gunpo" (auxiliary serviceman). A military organization during the Japanese Occupation. Teenage Asians were recruited and trained for battle. They were given basic training, lodging and clothing. The members were promised Japanese wives when the war ended. These were the only people the Japanese trusted. Some later accompanied the Japanese soldiers to fight against the anti-Japanese resistance in the Malayan jungle. ^^^
