OCR: X "THREE-HORNED FACE" Triceratops' great head bristled with weapons. This horned dinosaur's sharp beak could deliver a powerful bite. Its nose horn and two long pointed brow horns would have helped ward off attacks by the meat-eater Tyrannosaurus, and bony studs protected the edge of the huge bony frill that jutted back over neck. In the breeding season, the skin stretched over this frill might have become brightly colored. Rival males probably showed off their neck frills by nodding their heads, and they could have locked horns in combat like deer.
