The largest-known supergiant, Betelgeuse (which lies in the constellation of Orion), has a diameter about 400 times that of the Sun and a volume that could encompass 64 million suns. The most massive supergiants - those with about 100 times the Sun's mass - are about a million times more luminous than the Sun.
