OCR: THE OPIK-OORT CLOUD MOST COMETS are in the Öpik-Oort Kuiper Belt (enlarged view) Cloud, a huge spherical region about 200,000 astronomical units (AU) in diameter that surrounds the planetary orbits of the Solar System. It is believed to Pluto's contain around 10 trillion orbit comets with a total mass three times that of the Earth. Within the Cloud is the Kuiper Belt, which is a much smaller, disk-shaped region containing a group of comets.
