OCR: What you've purchased is DigiZINE™, an interactive CD-ROM that weaves music, entertainment, and popu- lar culture, into a mind-bending, ground breaking interactive experience. Our goal in creating DigiZINE is to present the information in a game-like format where you choose where to go and what to see. The only time you will receive direct instructions regarding where to go in DigiZINE is on the content screen. There, you'll find buttons to enter into Entertainment, Culture & Society, or Twisted Topics™. You may also choose to go into the help section, view our credits, register to win Marvel® interactive comics (see "Marvel" button) or autographed drum paraphernalia (see "Drum Month" button), or play our interactive ads (Sony and Dewar's buttons). After that, you're on your own. The key is to roll over different areas of the screen - there's hidden stuff all over the place! If you roll over something with your mouse and it changes either the button or the entire screen, simply click to enter that section (or back out of that section). But here's the best thing about DigiZINE: Like a game, you will have to figure out how to get all of the information hidden within the wonderful world of DigiZINE. How do you know? Simply hit your tab key, which will bring a little pop-up menu onto your screen (NOTE: this function may not work with Windows '95). The menu reads like an LED meter: The top meter represents your progress through the section you're in, and the bottom meter represents your progress through DigiZINE as a whole. The more green "lights" that are lit up, the farther you've gone. When you want to quit out of DigiZINE, you will be asked to type in your name to save off a "bookmark." That way, you won't have to solve "puzzles" to return to the same section. If you purchased DigiZINE at a store, you can check the inside front cover of the packaging to see all of the sections you can explore. Or, sign on to our web site (http://www.digizine.com) and find the same map. We encourage you to provide us feedback and suggestions at our web site, and you can send us anything you want (audio, video, computer files, your checkbook) to: DigiZINE users c/o Ahrens Interactive, Inc ., 400 N. State, Chicago, IL 60610 To subscribe, or to order our tee-shirts: fill out subscription card (enclosed), For credit card orders only, call: 800.908.7245. DigiZINE is non-refundable and non-returnable.
