OCR: Walking into Heather's apartment is like reading one of her cartoons. It's an adventure - you're never quite sure where it will lead. It's fun - there are lots of toys to play with and goodies to look at. It's nsightful - you learn a lot about the artist and your- self. It's more than a little chaotic - what with two cats, the husband, and lots of Hester McMarkups al over the wall. It's like well ... Heather. Her apartment is a veritable junk heaven. Scads of great thrift store campiness, diminutive museum of min- iatures stuffed on a beck- shelf, thousands of bargain basement cutout albums, and one of the most extensive "Dukes of Hazzard" junk collections. Also, you'll see some of the most original, creative, and deliciously funny artwork, Oh, and we can't forget about Heather. Heather is as original as the environment she lives and creates in. Dedicated and prolific, Heather is con- stantly working. Whether it's sketching cartoons at the drawing board, animating film frame by frame, or editing a documentary at the Steenbeck machine, she's always on the go. Presently, she's working an animater film called "Cartoon Girl," a documentary on transvestite Lastushka, and a drawing book about her travels through Europe.
