  11. just want ed to reply to your message about the alinco mod. i just got the answer i was looking for. thought i would pass it along to you.

  14. mod for the alinco dr-110t
  15. remove the top cover.
  16. find the yellow wire at the front left corner (next to the tuning knob)
  17. it makes a loop about 1 1/2 inches long.
  18. clip the wire in two and insulate.
  19. replace top cover.
  20. reset the radio as per the manual. ( i.e.  hold f and vfo/m button down while turning the radio on.
  21. to change bands, press funtion followed by mhz button.
  22. rig will change bands each time you do so.
  23. this should allow reception from 130 - 169.995 mhz
  24. the rig will also transmit from 103 - 169.995 mhz

  34. THAT I DIDN'T KNOW AT FIRST....

  36. 130-170 RECEIVE AND XMIT
  37. 340-380 RECEIVE ONLY
  38. 870-890 RECEIVE ONLY

  40. AFTER YOU MAKE THE MOD ON THE YELLOW WIRE, YOU RESET THE RIG AS PER
  41. THE MOD. THEN TO GO FROM 130-170 TO 340-380, YOU HIT THE F AND MHZ
  42. KEY. TO GO FROM 340-380, TO THE CELLULAR 870-890, YOU HIT THE F AND
  43. MHZ KEY AGAIN. TO GO FROM 870-890 BACK TO 130-170, YOU HIT THE F AND
  44. MHZ AGAIN.
