  1.                Packet Radio MailBox System - PRMBS
  2.  
  3.      The  PRMBS  code  is packaged in  several  ARC  files.  They 
  4. require PKXARC version 3.4 or later to be unARCed. The files  are 
  5. as follows;
  6.      (version is shown as 98x - 'x' = revision letter for v0.98)
  7.  
  8.           PRMEXE.98x  - executable of MB, MBPWD, MBFIX,
  9.                         SORTUSER, etc
  10.           PRMSUP.98x  - Support files, CONFIG, forward, etc
  11.           PRMBIO.98x  - AA4RE's COMBIOS version know to work
  12.                         with PRMBS - not needed if you  have 
  13.                         your own and know it works.
  14.           PRMDOC.98x  - documentation file with print to disk
  15.                         using a 'draft printer' format (i.e. 
  16.                         page ejects and CR/LFs only) will also
  17.                         contain release docs for that version
  18.                         with changes and differences
  19.           PRMAUX.98x  - will contain auxiliary programs for 
  20.                         PRMBS like SWATCH, MBGETHDR, LFAP as
  21.                         they become available.

  23.     To get the files type    PKXARC PRMxxx.98x   the .ARC extension
  24.     is generally assumed but not necessary and has been replaced by 
  25.     version/revision designation.

  27.      Generally there may be another file present in the format of
  28.  
  29.           PRM98x.UPD
  30.  
  31.      This file will contain updates executable and any  pertinent 
  32. support  files.  This  file may be taken in  lieu  of  a  complete 
  33. download of the other files by users who already have the earlier 
  34. version.  Persons taking the BBS for the first time will  need  to 
  35. take all of the other files PLUS this file.

  39.      I do not mind answering questions concerning the BBS and how 
  40. to  set it up, BUT , I get mighty pissed and at having  to  answer 
  41. questions  whose answers are in the DOC files I have  written.  I 
  42. DID NOT spend the 80-90 hours writing and updating that doc  file 
  43. so I could waste a half an hour quoting from it to some jerk  who 
  44. is too lazy to read it.

  46.      If you have read the doc and still do not understand  that's 
  47. a horse of a different color. Ask away and and make sure you  let 
  48. me know you did not understand my instructions.

  50.      I  am will say quite simply that any phone call in which  the 
  51. words  "I  did not read the doc" are a part of the  words  spoken 
  52. will be promptly terminated by me!
