  6.  We're looking for a few good writers.
  7.  
  8.  Actually, we're looking for as many good writers as we can find. We're
  9.  interested in fiction, poetry, reviews, feature articles (about most
  10.  anything, as long as it's well-written), essays, and ANSI art.
  11.  
  12.  STTS is dedicated to showcasing as many talents as it can, in all forms
  13.  and genres. We have no general "theme" aside from good writing,
  14.  innovative concepts, and unique execution of those concepts.
  15.  
  16.  The only payment we can offer for your articles, stories, and poems is
  17.  that of exposure. As STTS grows, we expect it to reach markets through-
  18.  out the USA, Canada, Europe, Japan, and parts of ASIA. Through the
  19.  distribution system we're using, the possibilities are practically
  20.  limitless.
  21.  
  22.  The copyright of said material, of course, remains the sole property
  23.  of the author. STTS has the right to present it once in a "showcase"
  24.  format and in an annual "best of" issue. (a paper version as well
  25.  as the elec. version)
  26.  
  27.  Acceptance of submitted material does NOT necessarily mean that it
  28.  will appear in STTS.
  29.  
  30.  Submissions should be in 100% pure ASCII format. There are no
  31.  limitations in terms of lengths of articles, but keep in mind it's
  32.  a magazine, not a novel. <Grin>
  33.  
  34.  Fiction and poetry will be handled on a pure submission basis, except
  35.  in the case of any round-robin stories or continuing stories that might
  36.  develop.

  38.  Reviews will also be handled on a submission basis. If you're
  39.  interested in doing a particular review medium (ie: books) on a
  40.  full-time basis, let me know and we'll talk.

  42.  ANSI art should be under 10k and can be about any subject as long as
  43.  it's not pornographic. We'll feature ANSI art from time to time,
  44.  as well as featuring a different ANSI "cover" for our magazine each
  45.  month.

  47.  In terms of articles, we're looking for just about anything that's
  48.  of fairly general interest to the BBSing world at large. An article
  49.  comparing several new high-speed modems would be appropriate, for
  50.  example, whereas an article describing in detail how to build your
  51.  own such modem really wouldn't be.
  52.  
  53.  Articles needn't be contained to the world of computing, either.
  54.  Movies, politics, ecology, literature, entertainment, fiction,
  55.  non-fiction, reviews - it's all fair game for STTS.

  57.  Articles, again, will be handled on a submission basis. If anyone has
  58.  an idea or two for a regular column, let me know. If it works, we'll
  59.  incorporate it into STTS.

  79.                     put a ->5320 or ->SUNLIGHT in the top-most upper
  80.                     left-hand corner, it'll be routed directly to my
  81.                     BBS.

  84.                     Conference, Poetry Corner conference, or the
  85.                     Writers Conference. If your P&BNet contact is using
  86.                     PostLink, you can route the message to me
