  8.       WINDOWS 3.X COMPATIBILITY WITH SATISFAXTION BOARDS

  11.          You must use CASMODEM version 1.04i or greater if you want to use
  12.          Windows fax applications, such as FAXability, with the SatisFAXtion
  13.          Modem/100.

  16.          Intel's lab tested this program with the SatisFAXtion/200 using
  17.          SatisFAXtion 1.30 software, and it is compatible. However, FAXPOP is
  18.          not compatible with Windows. Use Intel's FAXability software to fax
  19.          from Windows applications.

  49.          DOWNLOAD.400, Cardfile's auto-dialer works correctly only when SLS is

  75.          SatisFAXtion/200, 400, & Classic:
  76.          Intel has found no problems using cc:Mail with these SatisFAXtion
  77.          faxmodems.

  79.          SatisFAXtion/100 & 400E:
  80.          cc:Mail doesn't operate correctly while CASMODEM is sending or
  81.          receiving a fax. If you click on the cc:Mail icon while a send or
  82.          receive is in progress, the icon will blink once, but the program
  83.          won't run. If you keep clicking on the cc:Mail icon, eventually
  84.          you'll get the error: "Insufficient meomry". If you continue clicking
  85.          on the cc:Mail icon, you'll get the message: "Too many file currently
  86.          open", and you won't be able to open any more applications.

  88.          cc:Mail's NOTIFY feature also doesn't work correctly while CASMODEM
  89.          is sending or receiving. When NOTIFY tries to check for messages, it
  90.          returns the error: "Database file can't be accessed." If you click
  91.          the OK button in time, NOTIFY will unload and the system will carry
  92.          on normally. If not, you may have trouble using whatever application
  93.          was on the screen at the time the error occured.

  99.          If you run COMSET before running SETUP, SETUP will report I/O
  100.          conflicts if you address the SatisFAXtion modem as COM3 or COM4.
  101.          COMSET is a Windows utility which patches your BIOS to enable support
  102.          for COM3 and COM4.

  107.          cause his computer to lock up after sending or receiving a fax with

  113.          faxes directly into popular word processing, spreadsheet, and
  114.          database applications. FaxGrabber runs under  Windows 3.0 and offers

  171.          There is a problem printing to a file in Word for Windows and using

  175.          applications.

  184.          The Windows Paintbrush program can edit and save PCX files which are
  185.          compatible with SatisFAXtion. However, the Paintbrush program adds 16
  186.          pixels of black to the right edge of the drawing without changing the
  187.          drawing width in the PCX file's header.

  189.          Make sure you create a drawing with a Black and White palette. You
  190.          cannot fax a PCX file containing a color palette. See "Creating a

  219.          When running CASMGR 1.40, WinFax Pro may lock up when you view a
  220.          failed receive event in the WinFax log. Delrina's fix for this
  221.          problem is now available on CompuServe and the Delrina BBS in an
  222.          archive file called CAS.EXE. The archive file contains a program
  223.          named a README file and the program CASFIX.EXE. The README file
  224.          instructs you to add the CASFIX command immediately following the
  225.          CASMGR command in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file.
