  1. ──────────────────────> About this Infojournal :

  3.     First off, this is an Infojournal. Infojournal is an abbreviation for
  4.  Information Journal. We chose this because this is not a newsletter (we're not
  5.  reporting the news), but more of an informative package designed to inform and
  6.  perhaps teach people about something. The reason for this is that there has
  7.  been so many useless information past on in groups newsletter, that the whole
  8.  concept has become devoid. This is why we are trying a purely informative
  9.  letter, rather than clutter it all up with ramblings on our group and other
  10.  groups.

  12.     This is in no way intended as a magazine either. There are too many out
  13.  already, and taken into account the superb job some of them are doing, we
  14.  would not feel right to compete. Besides we are not good enough writers to
  15.  compete with some of them. However we have left behind the old text file
  16.  format, because, considering the amount of information condensed into this
  17.  issue, we thought a little presentation would be more suited. But once again
  18.  this is not a magazine type programming job with pull-down menus, VGA... This
  19.  has no place in a H/P journal, and would simply be a waste of time.

  21.     Now this is an Infojournal designed to show the curious about the
  22.  information we have gathered over a while. There will most probably be more
  23.  issues than this one, but they will not be regular occurrences, as we write
  24.  them once we have enough information to put in them. And once again, if you
  25.  have any comments/feedback/suggestions for us, please call up one of our
  26.  sites. Thank you.
