  15. bidirectional gain at low angles if you have good quality earth.  The feed
  16. impedance is relatively high, reducing ground connection losses at the
  17. feedpoint.  In addition, the high current portions of the antenna are at the
  18. top, keeping them away from any surrounding structures.
