  9.           AUTONET TERMINAL IDENTITY CODES
  10.  
  11.           To optimize Autonet's treatment of your terminal, use the
  12.           identity  code suggested for your terminal model.   Enter
  13.           the code by using the optional T command during the Autonet
  14.           connection procedure. Autonet will interpret the code and
  15.           will automatically establish the most effective parameters
  16.           for the operating characteristics of your device.  In many
  17.           cases, parameters can be permanently set at the host instal-
  18.           lation, thereby eliminating the need to use the T command
  19.           altogether.

  21.           In most cases,  if you are using an intelligent asynchro-
  22.           nous ASCII CRT, you may use code  D1.  Your  Autonet  Ac-
  23.           count Administrator,  the person in your organization who
  24.           handles Autonet matters, can advise you.  This list is a
  25.           representative sample of terminal types and does not sug-
  26.           gest that support is limited only to these terminals.  If
  27.           your terminal is unlisted, simply use the code associated
  28.           with a like-device.
