For his sixth labour, Heracles had to kill the Stinfal birds. These birds had beaks and talons of bronze and ate both man and animal leaving an excrement that was venomous and destroyed crops. Heracles scared the birds with a bell that was given to him by Athena and when they were in flight, he killed them.
