  4. Welcome to the trial version of ArCon+ 5
  5.  
  6. Please ensure that you read the following prior to installation.
  7.  
  8.  
  9. System Requirements:
  10.  
  11. Pentium 200 or higher
  12. Windows 95, 98, Me, NT, 2000, XP
  13. Ram: 64Mb - 128MB or higher
  14. Hard drive: 50Mb - 350Mb
  15. Graphics: 800 x 600 or higher

  18. Installation:

  20. Insert the CD into the Drive.
  21. Select Run from your Start menu and enter D:\Setup.exe replacing D: with your CD Drive letter if different.
  22. Follow the on-screen setup instructions.

  25. Running ArCon with Windows XP:
  26.  
  27. The following must be followed to ensure compatibility with Windows XP:

  29. 1. Right click on the ArCon.exe icon.
  30. 2. Select Properties from the menu.
  31. 3. Select the Compatibility tab.
  32. 4. Set Disable visual themes.
  33. 5. Set Compatibility mode to Windows 2000.
  34. 6. Click on Apply and run ArCon.

  37. Starting ArCon+ 5:

  39. >From the Start/Programs menu you will find two program files under ArCon-Visual Architecture.

  41. 1) ArCon 5.0
  42. ArCon 5.0 allows you to use the FULL version of ArCon as a 30 day evaluation. During or at anytime after the 30 day trial, visit www.3darchitect.co.uk/unlock to unlock your ArCon+ 5 Trial version by purchasing an unlock code online (take note of your serial number eg D12345678). Alternatively, you can contact us direct with your serial no. and we will supply you with an Unlock code for a special price of ú150 inc. VAT instead of the normal price of ú180 inc. VAT.

  44. 2) ArCon 5.0 Demo

If you still require additional practice using ArCon, you can run the ArCon 5.0 Demo. This version still allows you to sample projects but will not allow you to Save or Print any work carried out. Once you are happy and confident using ArCon you can still contact us at anytime to obtain the Unlock code at the special purchase price as described above.

The CD comes supplied with tutorial projects found in the Projects folder on the CD and a 126 page tutorial manual found in the Manuals folder on the CD. The CD also contains many example projects found in the Projects folder. If you need other assistance ArCon has a comprehensive online help system. You can also visit our website www.3darchitect.co.uk/support for additional information and support if required.
