  4. All vendors who like to include MTS in their package (either on diskette
  5. or any other media like CD-Rom) should write to me for approval. For
  6. most ASP approved vendors this will be no problem because, if they are
  7. in good standing, the meet the criteria. One of the major criteria is
  8. the way that products are sold/distributed to the customers/users. Some
  9. of them offer their diskettes as FREE software and Shareware is not
  10. FREE but only a free look (during a certain time) at the program before
  11. the potential users applies for a registration.

  13. At this moment the following vendor(s) have the right to distribute the
  14. product:

  16. - The Public Domain (& Shareware) Software Library, Sussex, England

  18. This information is valid for any version after  5.10. Versions lower
  19. than  5.10 are not supported anymore and useless to the average user,
  20. because (later) major changes in archivers lack in these versions.

  23. User information for distributed versions

  25. You have found this package on one or more diskettes that you have
  26. obtained by one (or more) of the above mentioned vendor(s). Because
  27. it would take a very big multinational company to keep up with the
  28. flow of versions of programs, you can not expect that this should be
  29. the latest version. Good libraries keep their software up-to-date,
  30. like most ASP-related houses (PD(&D)SL mentioned above), but some
  31. don't update that frequent.

  33. For later versions there could be a (small) change in the functions
  34. (most of the time they are added, not removed) and/or there could be
  35. a (small) change in the registration prices. If you want to register
  36. this product, or if you have problems with the current version, you
  37. should make sure that these problems are not (already) fixed or the
  38. price is still the same. If you are unsure, you can always contact
