  20.  **a. How to Play Cryptic Puzzles**

  23.         Cryptic Puzzles combines hangman and cryptogram-like puzzles
  24.         into a new family favorite.
  25.  
  26.         The goal of this game is to decipher a hidden phrase by
  27.         guessing the letters and words of the phrase.
  28.  
  29.         Each game starts with a random phrase, with each letter of
  30.         the phrase being represented by a blank box. Seperations
  31.         between boxes represent spaces between words of the phrase.
  32.  
  33.         To play, click on a letter to make a guess at the puzzle's
  34.         phrase. If the letter you clicked on is found in the phrase,
  35.         it will display in every box it can be found in. But beware,
  36.         for every incorrect letter you click a balloon bursts. And
  37.         if you click on 6 incorrect letters before solving the
  38.         puzzle, you lose that round.

  43.         To run Cryptic Puzzles, you'll need the following system:

  45.                 An IBM-compatible, 486 or better computer
  46.                 Four Megabytes of RAM
  47.                 A VGA monitor
  48.                 Windows 95, or Windows 98
  49.                 Hard Disk with two Megabytes free
  50.                 Mouse

  52.         You'll have more fun with these recommended additions:

  55.                 Four Megabytes of RAM

  60.         1. To get started with Cryptic Puzzles on a hard disk:
  61.                 a. Insert the Cryptic Puzzles disk in your
  62.                         floppy disk drive ('A', or 'B')
  63.                 b. From Windows 'run' A:\setup or B:\setup" and press
  64.                         Enter.
  65.                 c. Follow the screen directions.

  70.         To start the game, double click on the Cryptic Puzzles
  71.         icon in Windows.

  73.  **2. Troubleshooting & Technical Support**

  76.         If you have a problem, chances are you can fix it without
  77.         needing to get help. Try the following:

  79.         If the game says you have insufficient memory, or if it crashes,
  80.         try rebooting without loading any TSR programs, such as your
  81.         disk cache.

  83.         If the screen is to dark to see, try turning up the brightness
  84.         on your monitor.
  85.  
  86.         If you are unable to fix your problems, try contacting us via
