Solitaire Pack Vol. 2 is a set of ten solitaire card games for your Palm OS device.

1.2 System Requirements
Solitaire Pack Vol. 2 is designed to work on both the Palm Professional and Personal units, as well as the Palm III, IIIx, IIIc, IIIxe, IIIe, V, Vx, VII, TRGPro, SymbolUnits, Handspring devices, as well as any device using Palm OS 3.0 or later. Throughout this manual, Palm OS device is used to refer to any of these units.
1.3 Registering Solitaire Pack Vol. 2
Solitaire Pack Vol. 2 is shareware, and costs $17.00.
The Solitaire Pack Vol. 2 Demo will work for a 30 day trial period. At the end of the 30 days, it will stop working. After it expires, you will be unable to access any additional information Solitaire Pack Vol. 2 has added, nor any of its links. To avert this tragedy, you will need to get in touch with Stand Alone to purchase your software. You can register with us by several different methods. Before it expires, it is fully functional, with no hidden features.
You will need to include the following information, no matter how you choose to register. Most importantly, you need to include your name EXACTLY as it is entered in your Palm organizer, including spaces. We use this to generate your password, so it must be precise. You will need to specify which programs you wish to register, and include payment for each of them. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. If you are using normal mail, you can send us a check as well. Make sure to include your card number, the expiration date, and what type of card you are using. You also need to give us a way to get in touch with you. Email is the preferred way, followed by your Address and phone number. An Email Address is not strictly necessary, but it will result in much faster service.
For instant gratification, register by phone, and pay using Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. To do so, call (773) 477-2492 and we will give you a password right over the phone.

Once you register, you will receive a registration code from us. To install the code, first tap on the Menu silkscreen button. Then, select Options, and tap Enter Registration Code. Finally, enter your password on the space provided.

1.5 Reporting Bugs
If you find a bug in our software, it would be helpful if you reported the bug to us. To report a bug, please Email us with Bug Report Request in the subject line. In the email, include the following information:
oWhat type of Palm OS device you are using (i.e. Palm IIIx)
oThe software name and version number (i.e. Super Names v.1.5)
oThe error message
oA brief description of how we can recreate the error
oYour name and Email Address so we can contact you when the bug is fixed
When reporting bugs, it is best to Email us, rather than calling, so that the programmers have a written record of the information they need to solve the problem.
As soon as we receive your Email, the programmer will examine the problem, and fix it.. Because our programmers are busy creating software, it can take a while for them to reply, but they will release a new version of the software that fixes the bug as soon as they can.

2 Installing Solitaire Pack Vol. 2
When you first install Super Names, follow the normal procedure for installing any Palm OS software using Palm Desktop, Palm Buddy, or Backup Buddy.
3 General Rules
Welcome to Solitaire Games Vol. 2, a collection of ten classic solitaire card games for the Palm OS. It includes Canfield, Forty Thieves, Montana, Spider, Towers, West Cliff, Yukon, Aces High, Free Cell, Thirteens.
3.1 Selecting Games
Solitaire Games Vol. 2 includes ten card games. To choose which game to play, tap the Menu silkscreen button and choose Games from the top menu. Then, select the game that you want to play from the list. The list does not show the type of game you are currently playing.
3.2 New Games
To start a new game, first select the game you wish to play. Then, tap on the silkscreen button and select the Games menu. Finally, select New Game from the Games menu.
3.3 Saving Games
All games played with Solitaire Games Vol. 2 are automatically saved whenever you close the program or switch between games. The current game is erased if you start a new game of the same type.
3.4 Moving Cards
Cards are moved one of three ways. You can drag card from one location to a different location. Alternatively, you can tap on the card you wish to move, and then tap on its destination to move it. Finally, if you double tap a card the program will automatically move the card to a legal location.
3.5 Definition of Terms
Here is a list of terms used in the descriptions of the rules for each game.
3.5.1 Foundation
Foundations are the card piles where you are ultimately trying to place all of the cards. Generally, you receive points for placing a card on a foundation. Once a card is placed on a foundation, it may no longer be moved.
3.5.2 Columns
Columns are the stacks of cards that are actively in play. They are stacked vertically according to the specific rules of an individual game.
3.5.3 Rows
Rows are similar to Columns, but are stacked horizontally.
3.5.4 Deck
The deck is the collection of cards not yet in play. You deal cards from the deck on to a the Discard Pile, where you can then play cards on to the Columns, Rows, or Foundations.
3.5.5 Discard Pile
Cards from the Deck are dealt to the Discard Pile. Generally, you have access to the top card of the discard pile, but not to any cards Buried beneath the top card.
3.5.6 Buried
A card is Buried if it is underneath a card or cards in a Row, Column, or the Discard Pile. Buried cards are generally unable to be played.
