  24. 1. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

  26.   Bloxer requires Palm OS (R) 2.0 or greater.

  29. 2. INSTALLATION
  30. ---------------
  31.   Installation of Bloxer is just like any other .prc for the 
  32.   Palm OS (tm) handheld. Run either the Windows or Macintosh version 
  33.   of the Palm (tm) Install Tool, click on the Browse button and select 
  34.   "bloxer.prc". Click on the "Install" button and the next time you 
  35.   HotSync, the application will be loaded into your Palm handheld.

  38. 3. HOW TO PLAY
  39. --------------

  41.   The basic rules are very simple:
  42.  
  43.   You can only remove groups of two or more adjacent tiles of the same
  44.   color. Tapping two or more adjacent tiles of the same color will
  45.   highlight the group of tiles. A second tap will remove the group. When
  46.   a group is removed, any tiles above it in the same column slide down
  47.   to fill the space.

  49.   Similarly, if a column becomes empty, all the columns to the right
  50.   slide across so that there are no gaps between columns. The number of
  51.   tiles in the group, and the score you would get if you removed them is
  52.   displayed in the right field "selection" at the bottom of the game.
  53.   The earned score is displayed in the left field "score" at the bottom
  54.   of the game.

  56.   If you think that you made a mistake or wrong move, you can undo the
  57.   last move you made by clicking the undo button or select "undo move"
  58.   from the options menu or use the graffiti shortcut "u".

  60.   The game is over once there are no more adjacent tiles of the same
  61.   color. The score for each group removed is based on the number of 
  62.   tiles in the group and is calculated so that many small groups will
  63.   score less than one large group. The score depends on the size of the
  64.   group you removed. If you manage to remove all the tiles, you score
  65.   1000 extra points.

  67.   All scored points are honored in a Highscore List. The highscores can
  68.   be removed by tapping the "clear" button. To view the Highscore list,
  69.   select "Highscore" from the options menu or use the shortcut "h".

  71.   To start a new game, click the new game button, or select "new game"
  72.   from the options menu. You can also use the graffiti shortcut "N".

  74.   You may change the difficulty of the game (number of colors) in the 
  75.   application preferences to make the game easier or harder to play. 
  76.   There are four difficulties to play: 
  77.   
  78.       Beginners (3 colors)
  79.       Normal (4 colors)
  80.       Expert (5 colors)
  81.       Master (6 colors)

  83.   Each difficulty setting has its own high score table. 
  84.   You can also select or deselect sound effects in the preferences menu.
  85.   You'll find the preferences in the option menu or by using the graffiti 
  86.   shortcut "r".
