  19. Note: Before installing this (or any other) software onto your Palm OS
  20.       computer, it is recommended that you back up your current data by
  21.       running HotSync.
  22.  
  23. The Word Pak LE code is distributed as a compressed 'WordPakLE.zip' file or 'WordPakLE.sit' file for the Mac. These files include the software license ('license.txt'), the program ('Word Pak LE.prc'), and this Readme.txt file.

  25. To install the program:
  26.  
  27. 1. Download the 'WordPakLE.zip' or 'WordPakLE.sit' file to your desktop machine.
  28.  
  29. 2. Extract the files from the 'WordPakLE.zip' or 'WordPakLE.sit' file using a tool
  30.    such as WinZip or UnZip or Stuff-It.
  31.  
  32. 3. On your desktop machine, start the Palm or Workpad Install tool.
  33.  
  34. 4. Click on the "Browse" button and select the 'Word Pak LE.prc' file which
  35.    you just extracted.
  36.  
  37. 5. Click on the "Install" button and confirm if requested.
  38.  
  39. 6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the WordPakDBLe.pdb file.
  40.  
  41. 7. Place your Palm or Workpad device in its cradle and press the HotSync
  42.    button.  The program will then be installed near the end of the
  43.    HotSync process.

  49. There is also help available by going to the menus and then Help. Each preference
  50. setting also has help available for it.

  53. WORD SEARCH:
  54. -----------------------
  55. Can you find all of the words in the puzzle?  Drag the pen across the word to 
  56. circle it. Circle all of the words to complete the puzzle.

  58. To see the list of words in the puzzle, click on the 'Words' button in the top 
  59. right corner. The next word on the list always shows in the top title bar, however, 
  60. any word can be circled at any time.

  63. WORD MEMORY:

  65. Can you find all the pairs of words in the grid? Click on any of the cards to 
  66. display the word behind the card. The idea is to remember where the words are 
  67. located so that you can match the pairs.

  69. The category of the words in the grid is displayed in the top right corner.

  72. WORD JUMBLE:

  74. Do you know the word that the letters spell? Click on any of the letters and move 
  75. it to the bottom buckets in the order you think is correct.

  77. Once you have all the letters on all the buckets the game will let you know how 
  78. correct your guess was. Keep trying until you guess the word.

  80. The game will also let you know how many words you have solved and how many more
  81. you need to solve.

  84. WORD UNTANGLE:

  86. Can you find the words that are hidden in the tangled letters? Click on any of the
  87. letters and move it to the correct position.

  89. At the beginning of each game you will receive a hint as to where one of the 
  90. letters should be located. If you need more assistance to solve the game, you 
  91. can "Buy a Letter" by paying 10 seconds to your total game time. You will still 
  92. need to place the letter in the right spot.
