  22. Follow the instructions for installing applications included with your 
  23. device and/or desktop software.

  29. Once you have registered your copy of this program, you will receive your 
  30. registration code via e-mail within a few days.  You need to enter this 
  31. code on the splash screen displayed when starting Element 1.5.2.  Once the 
  32. correct code is entered, Element 1.5.2 will immediately operate with all 
  33. features of the registered version and no more registration reminders will 
  34. be displayed.

  40. Main Display
  41. ------------

  43. The main display consists of a graphic representation of the periodic table of
  44. the elements. Tap on a box in the table to select an element and display its 
  45. properties.
  46.  
  47. Above the table display are four fields, including:
  48.     - Atomic Number (top-left)
  49.     - Mass Number (top-right)
  50.     - Symbol (center)
  51.     - Element Name (bottom)
  52.  
  53. Tapping on any of these fields will display a sorted popup list from which you 
  54. can select elements by that property.
  55.  
  56. Below the table is a scrollable list of 21 additional properties of the selected
  57. element. Information explaining each of these additional properties is available
  58. by selecting "Property Information" from the "Options" menu.
  59.  
  60. At the lower-left corner of the table are three selectors (+, -, &) which are 
  61. used in conjunction with marking (see below).
  62.  
  63. Above the lanthanides on the right side are left/right arrows which are used to 
  64. step through the elements. When stepping, the selection moves to the next 
  65. element in the same marked-state as the current selection.

  68. Marking

  71. You can mark elements based on any of the properties in the list at the bottom 
  72. of the display. Elements are marked by comparing (equal, greater, less) a single
  73. property to the currently selected element (greater and less also imply equal). 
  74. The result of the comparison is used to either add-to, remove-from, or limit 
  75. (logical AND) the currently marked set.

  77. 1. Tap the desired property data to be compared.
  78. 2. Select the desired marking operation (add[+], remove[-], limit[&]).
  79. 3. Choose the desired comparison from the "Mark" menu.
  80.  
  81. In addition to marking by comparison, you can change the marked-state of the 
  82. selected element, mark all elements, or clear all marks by choosing the 
  83. "Selected", "All", or "None" menu items, respectively.

  85. If the marking results in all elements being marked, the operation will 
  86. automatically change to remove[-]. Likewise, if the marking results in no 
  87. elements being marked the operation will change to add[+].

  89. A single mark command can be retracted with the "Undo" item on the "Edit" menu. 
  90. Selecting "Undo" a second time will undo the undo (i.e. redo the marking). Undo 
  91. also resets the selected operation.

  149. The data provided is accurate to the best of our knowledge. However, an amount 
  150. of that data has been gathered by methods which cannot ensure 100% accuracy. We 
  151. welcome all corrections, provided that they are accompanied by an appropriate

  157. been substituted with "-?-" as a placeholder. We would especially like to 
  158. receive feedback with values for such items.
